About this charter
Wild Coast Alaska is a Homer-based fishing charter operation with over 20 years of experience, led by Captain Karl and veteran deckhand Cody (in his 6th season). They run the Berserker, a 29-foot Blackfin (1990, extensively refitted in winter 2024–2025) powered by twin 350HP Crusader engines capable of 28 knots, featuring a heated cabin and onboard bathroom for guest comfort. Departing from Ramp 4, Slip L13 at Homer Small Boat Harbor between 6 and 7 am, they fish renowned grounds including Barren Islands, Chugach Islands, Rocky Bay, Cook Inlet, and Kachemak Bay. Their combo-focused approach — halibut limits first, then rockfish, salmon, or lingcod based on season — ensures anglers of all skill levels fill their coolers on every trip.
