Catch A Lot Charters is a Homer, Alaska fishing charter operation run by Captain Mike Patterson, a 4th-generation Alaskan whose family has fished Alaskan waters since 1910 — and who has been running charters himself since 1993. Their primary vessel is the Alaska Spirit 2, a 30-foot Aurora-model boat with a deep-V hull, 115+ square feet of deck space, twin Honda 200hp 4-stroke motors, and a full electronics suite including Furuno radar, color fish finder, and NavNet chart plotter with bathymetric data. The boat is USCG 5-star safety rated with a heated cabin and enclosed restroom, accommodating up to 6-8 anglers comfortably. Operating out of Slip N#2 on the Homer Spit from May through October, they target halibut (fish up to 400 lbs have been caught), king and silver salmon, lingcod, and multiple rockfish species, with every trip including premium tackle with 500lb hand-tied leaders and complimentary fish filleting.
